Interview Techniques

Interview Techniques can be the difference between success and failure at interview. If you do not have strong interview techniques the good news is that this can be learned. Working with a skilled professional will improve these key skills. Interview Coaching can certainly help and many jobseekers have seen the results of effective interview coaching.

Interview Techniques – How do I improve my interview techniques?

Role Play – Simulate a real life interview with a friend or professional. Simulation is a technique used successfully by many professions as it is the closed thing to a real situation.

Practice Interviews – I guess this is a real interview. Some jobseekers apply and interview for roles they have no interest in with the sole purpose of getting interview experience. This is an obvious waste of the employer time BUT I have seen poor performance in such scenarios knock the jobseekers confidence further.

Practice alone – Answer questions in front of the mirror. Not the best form of practice but better than doing nothing.

Interview Coaching can help enhance your interview techniques and lead to better interview performance and results.
